Living in Fort Grounds
Fort Grounds trades square footage for location. Most homes sit close to City Park, the college beachfront, or the Spokane River outlet, and downtown restaurants are an easy walk or bike ride away. Mature trees, older homes, and very little new construction give the streets a settled, historic feel.
The mix runs from restored early-century homes to rebuilt lakefront properties. Because the neighborhood is fully built out, inventory is thin and buyers often wait for the right house rather than choosing from several.
